Why does having my display adapter enabled and updated cause me to get a BSOD and how do I fix it? It's so frustrating to not understand why this is happening. So I went back in and disabled my display adapter and here I am. So I updated it and bang, immediately got the BSOD with "whea uncorrectable error" on it. The option was greyed out so I checked my display adapter driver and it was reporting an error. So I'm all good until a few weeks ago when I noticed that I couldn't change my display resolution. So anyway, he put a new hard drive in and I thought that would fix my issues but it didn't, still kept getting the BSOD and the computer guy I was in contact with must have been an idiot because he couldn't fix it.Īnyway, I eventually fixed it by realizing that my BOIS was badly outdated and needed to be updated. Took my laptop in for repair and my hard drive was fried.
Eventually my hard drive crashed and I lost everything I had.
